In addition to our regular Sunday post we will have a semi-regular Wednesday guest post series.  So if you have a transcription that you would like to share, by all means let us know.  In order to keep a certain level of quality in the transcriptions that we share we ask that you please try to follow these guidelines for submitting your transcription:

1. Unless you have super clean handwriting, transcriptions should be notated in a program such as Finale and sent as a PDF file.  If you can provide the solo in Bb, Eb and Concert pitch that would be great, but not required.
2. In keeping with the theme of So Killing Man, please provide a short write up or analysis of the solo.  It doesn’t have to be really in depth if you don’t want it to be, but that would be nice!
3. Send an MP3 clip of the solo so that we can hear it as it was originally performed.

That’s it really!  We are open to solos for any instrument (actually we tend to be sax and trumpet heavy so we would like to see more solos for other instruments – especially piano and guitar).
